Black History Month

Babylon health requested for me to organise two Black History Events internally, ML-Q was requested to organise.
As a medical technology company it is important that there is a direct correlation between Black History and their industry.
I personally researched the history of African contribution to medicine, connecting the dots from Ancient Egypt to Empire of Mali to the Moors in Spain and Portugal . Staff including medical doctors were astounded by this knowledge.
I then curated a session with the African Union’s Robin Walker on African and African American Inventions Contributions to Technology which included: immunization, metallurgy, astronomy, complex surgery etc…
