Ghana Independence Day

I was honoured to be asked to host The Official Ghana Independence Day Celebrations in the UK .

We had Ambassadors and High Commissioners from over 30 countries represented and I was pleased to have got them laughing, after all diplomatic events can be all about the process and procedure. My goal was to make sure that people remembered that it was a celebration and after all protocol had been observed it was my job to get people partying.

Job done!

What I learned: How ever much I prepare things always change on the day. Keep cool, keep focused and be myself.
