Saturday night, I receive a call asking if I can host The Ghana Tourism Authority Summit At the Wardoff Hotel. Guests included Ghanaian superstar Wiyaala and X-Factor finalists Reggie & Bollie all there to promote Ghana’s tourism industry and listen to tour operators about how to improve Ghana’s positioning.

With less than 24 hours to prepare and research, I took to the stage and weaved a narrative based on Ghana’s president’s initiative to see Ghana, Eat Ghana and Wear Ghana. So I found it fitting that I wear Ghana’s finest Kente cloth.

This was a tremendous learning opportunity for all involved to listen about what Ghana was getting right and what could be improved upon. My goal was to ensure these messages were reinforced so practical steps could be made toward progress.
